Ten students in the class will design two posters - one each for two rules - randomly selected by each student.
An eleventh student will volunteer to be the design director for the project. He or she will determine with (with class input) the project’s design morphology and poster requirements, as well as a a basic poster grid template to be used for each poster design, and a final cover design for the collection.
This project will include the following elements:
– A Creative Brief for the project
– Word (Mind Map) and image (Image Board) research to generate ideas
– At least three Concept Thumbnails of each poster
– Two Tight Roughs of each poster
– Final Designs for two Type Rules! posters
Each of these required elements, as well as process development, is to be posted to your blog under the post title: DP1 - Type Rules! Posters.
The first three elements are due Thursday, January 18th.
